Bug Fixes
We had some bugs to squash too. No many, but enough to annoy us.
- Closed Status for Contracts: Admins can now close completed Contracts, making all associated documents read-only while retaining the option to reopen them if needed.
- Individual Permissions for Project Files (see the video below): You can assign specific roles or user permissions (Read, Update, or Deny) for folders and files within Project Files. Additionally, a new Knowledge Base article is available in the support portal. We encourage CIPO Admins to review this resource.
- Global per Parent Folders in Project Files: Create dedicated folder structures tailored to specific Project or Programs within the Project Files module.
- Improved Project Files Hierarchy: Folders are now displayed above contracts for better organization.
- Enhanced Assignments Tab on Contracts: A more user-friendly design simplifies the selection process.
- Modules Displayed on Dashboard: Non-contract related modules are now visible directly on the Dashboard (ie, organization level EHS).
- Restricted Access to Contract Information: Permissions now allow greater control over who can update and view certain information within the Contract details.
- Document Email Generation Update: The sender’s email address is now displayed when a document is generated from an email.
- Visible Document Actions and Comments: Actions and comments on a document in approval are now displayed for better transparency.
- Personal Dashboard Enhancements: Items in the hierarchy bar can now be accessed directly from the Personal Dashboard.
- Reports Module Update: The filter pane is now hidden by default, improving workspace clarity.
- Contract Overview Page Enhancements: Improved readability for a more streamlined user experience.
- Added Contract system field for Currency (ie, euros, British pounds, Canadian dollars, etc.) depending the project currency.
- Fixed the “In My Court” and “Exclude” logic for modules not per contract.
- Resolved an error in “Undo Last Action” due to missing roles to notify.
- Addressed an issue causing timeouts when printing Progress Payments.
- Fixed an issue where variables from the “Tag” notification were not populating.
Experience a new feature in action
In this video, we will demonstrate how to make a document viewable (read-only) to Contractors and their Subcontractors assigned to the Project. The same can also be achieved at a Program level; all it takes is changing the navigation Context in CIPO.
