Fixes & Reliability updates

Bug fixes and stability improvements to ensure consistent performance, accuracy, and reliability across the platform.

  • Transition Form Interface: Upgraded technology and interface for fields across multiple transition forms to improve performance and usability.
  • SOV Category Groups: Define specific SOV category groups by contract type for a more structured and consistent SOV setup.
  • Revised Contract Completion Date: A calculated field that automatically updates with each approved Change Order and extends payment periods as needed.
  • Change Orders by SOV: When using multiple SOVs, Change Orders can now be linked to a specific Schedule of Values.
  • SOV Import Error Handling: Improved system handling when creating SOVs from Excel or WBS file imports.
  • Scheduled Reminders Expansion: Scheduled reminders now include global modules, extending visibility beyond contract-only workflows.
  • Document Routing Display: “Routed to” and “Notified” sections now display user names only, removing role labels for cleaner activity views.
  • User Registration Stability: Resolved an issue where entering spaces during registration caused errors for new users.
  • User Reinvitation Handling: Fixed an issue where changing an email and reinviting previously disabled users did not work as expected.
  • Version Notification Accuracy: Corrected a bug that displayed a “new version available” notification when no new release existed.

Experience a new feature in action

This short video walkthrough highlights SOV Category Groups, a new enhancement in CIPO Release 3.4.4 that gives teams more flexibility in how they structure Schedules of Values. Some teams use SOVs directly, while others apply the same structure and workflows to bid items or similar cost breakdowns.

The walkthrough shows how admins can create and assign multiple category groups by contract, reuse or customize categories, and carry those selections through Excel imports and billing workflows. This helps owners, project managers, and finance teams maintain clarity and consistency across projects with different cost structures.
