What's New in 3.4.6?

Features & Improvements

New capabilities that bring intelligent assistance, flexible data management, and richer project visualization to your workflows.

Fixes & Reliability updates

Bug fixes and stability improvements to ensure consistent performance, accuracy, and reliability across the platform.

  • AI-Powered In-App Help: CIPO now features AI-powered access to Knowledge Base articles directly within the application. Users can get contextual help and documentation without leaving their workflow — a key step toward a more intelligent CIPO experience.
  • Global Address Support: Addresses can now be reused across documents, eliminating redundant data entry and keeping location information consistent throughout your projects. Combined with the new address autocomplete functionality powered by Azure Maps, capturing accurate location data is faster and more reliable than ever.
  • Self-Relating Modules: Documents can now reference other documents within the same module. This opens up new possibilities for managing complex project relationships — such as linking change orders to change orders, or RFIs to RFIs — directly within a single module.
  • Gantt Chart View in Data Lists: A new Gantt Chart view is now available in data lists, making it easier to visualize parent-child relationships between documents over time. Project managers and coordinators can now see scheduling dependencies at a glance without leaving CIPO.
  • Fixed an issue where Category and Type were not displayed when viewing approved SOV items.
  • Resolved a problem where used presets appeared as unused in data lists due to revision numbering inconsistencies.
  • Fixed DateTime validation errors occurring during document import.
  • Corrected an issue where Submit Date and Submit User Name variables were not populated on document import.
  • Fixed incorrect behavior where preferred values without metadata printed the form name.
  • Resolved an issue where relation fields were not visible in a scenario with modules per and not per contract relation.
  • Fixed incorrect progress payment print variable values.
  • Fixed a database error that occurred when removing a field from a transition form.
  • Resolved a DateDiff function error that caused conversion issues and incorrect day calculations.
  • Fixed an issue where recurring retention adjustments were not applied after rollback.
  • Resolved issues where JPEG attachments were missing from ZIP downloads when total attachment size exceeded 100MB.
  • Office files attached to CIPO documents are now read-only to preserve content integrity.
  • Corrected behavior where background downloads were triggered for small attachments under 100MB.
  • Fixed an issue where reply emails from Outlook were not received in CIPO correspondence.
  • Resolved an issue where refreshing the browser redirected users from Progress Payment details to the data list.
  • Fixed an issue where editable SOV item fields were not displayed in Activity after Pay Period updates.
  • Fixed an issue where the default start screen name was not displayed when the label was empty.
  • Corrected the Template dropdown display when generating PDFs from closed documents.
  • Fixed missing “This field is required” validation messages on address fields.
