CIPO 3.4.8: Holiday Groups, Self-Service Printout Regeneration, and To Do Search

CIPO Release 3.4.8 introduces Holiday Groups for more flexible project scheduling, self-service printout regeneration for administrators, and enhanced search capabilities on the To-Do Dashboard. The release also includes a range of performance, stability, and reliability improvements across the platform.

Together, these enhancements give administrators and project teams greater control over day-to-day workflows while delivering a faster, more reliable CIPO experience.

New capabilities that provide greater scheduling flexibility, expand administrator self-service, and make everyday task management faster and more efficient.

Fixes & Reliability updates

Bug fixes and stability enhancements that improve performance, accuracy, and reliability across the platform.

  • Holiday Groups: Administrators can now create and manage named holiday groups for projects with specific scheduling requirements. This makes it easier to apply the appropriate holiday calendar across projects while keeping schedules accurate and consistent.
  • Self-Service Printout Regeneration: Administrators can now regenerate printouts for individual documents directly within CIPO, eliminating the need to submit a support request when document output needs to be refreshed.
  • To-Do Dashboard Search: A new search capability has been added to the To-Do Dashboard, making it faster and easier to find pending tasks across projects without scrolling through the full list.
  • Angular Framework Migration: Manage modules, URL and Report module types, and the tenant default Power BI report configuration have been migrated to the latest Angular framework, improving performance, stability, and maintainability across the platform.
  • Contextual Lists: Updates to Contextual List items are now reflected immediately in document dropdowns without requiring a page refresh.
  • Correspondence Draft Templates: Resolved an issue where the selected template was not retained when reopening a saved Correspondence draft.
  • Select Fields: Fixed an issue where Select fields could incorrectly display “All options selected” when duplicating documents or using transition forms.
  • Activity Tab Layout: Improved the Activity tab layout to prevent fields from overlapping or displaying incorrectly during conditional transitions.
  • Correspondence Navigation: Corrected behavior when opening Correspondence items from project or program hierarchy levels.
  • Side Navigation: The side navigation menu now highlights only the currently active item.
  • Contracts Module Loading: Resolved an issue that could cause an infinite loading spinner and repeated background API calls after submitting or undoing actions in the Contracts module.
  • Correspondence Inbox: Fixed an issue where the Correspondence Inbox could load indefinitely when a user had no assigned contracts.
  • List Module Discard Changes: Updated List module behavior so the Discard Changes action bar no longer appears prematurely.
  • Manage Presets: Resolved an issue where presets could remain blocked after the document number was changed prior to submission.
  • Global Search: Fixed an additional scenario where opening a document from Global Search could incorrectly display a “This document is not on the same module” error.
  • List Value Validation: Improved handling of colon characters in List values to prevent unnecessary validation errors.
  • Nested Relations: Prevented duplicate nested relations by hiding the option once a nested relation already exists in a non-contract module.
  • Change Email: Restored access to the Change Email option for affected users.
  • Gantt Chart: Fixed hierarchy display issues in Gantt charts for schedules imported from Microsoft Project.
