CIPO 3.5.0 is one of our most significant releases to date, introducing AI-powered analysis of contract specifications and other AI-indexed documents, a modernized Project Files and My Drive experience, multi-language platform support, and dynamic print variables.

- AI-Powered Contract Analysis: Users can now upload Contract Specification PDFs and use AI to extract and generate relevant information directly from contract documents. Instead of manually reviewing lengthy specification documents, teams can interrogate contract content and surface the information they need faster and more efficiently than ever before.
- Modernized Project Files and My Drive: Project Files and My Drive have been rebuilt on the latest Angular framework, delivering improved performance and maintainability. Infinite scrolling allows users to browse large file collections seamlessly without manual page navigation, making it faster and easier to find the files you need.
- File Notes: Users can now add notes directly to uploaded files, making it easier to capture context and supporting information alongside documents without needing to go elsewhere to record it.
- Multi-Language Platform Support: A translation framework has been introduced across the application, laying the foundation for localized user experiences. This marks a significant step toward making CIPO accessible to teams working in multiple languages.
- Automatic Inactive User Disabling: Inactive users can now be automatically disabled through a recurring background process, improving account governance and strengthening security across your tenant.
- Virtual Drawings Edit Mode from Relations Tab: Virtual Drawings referenced through the Relations tab can now be opened directly in edit mode, allowing users to update drawing markups without leaving the context of the related document.
- Contract Assigned Users Print Variable: A new “Contract – Assigned Users” print variable is now available, making it easy to view assigned team members and their roles on projects.
- Standardized Data List Filter Names: Data list filter names are now standardized across tenants, providing a more consistent filtering experience regardless of which project or contract you are working in.
- Improved performance for Contract Module Card View, reducing slow loading and timeout issues when displaying larger result sets.
- Contract pages, assignments, and user selection dialogs now load more efficiently, resulting in faster navigation and improved responsiveness when working with large amounts of data.
- Enhanced URL module security controls have been applied to embedded iframe content.
- Improved the handling of select and radio fields when referenced list values are changed or removed, ensuring documents continue to display and edit field values correctly even after list updates.
- Schedules of Values can now be printed, downloaded, and emailed when contracts are Closed or Archived.
- Application URLs now update correctly when switching between contracts.
- Improved performance of the Daily Report screen when loading documents with many tables and high data volume.
- The Address field autocomplete now correctly displays the required field asterisk.
- Workflow now routes to the user-selected transition instead of the first Draft to Open transition when transition conditions are configured.
- Contract values in the Overview tab of the contract details now display decimals correctly.
- Data list search is now cleared when changing modules, and pressing Enter now triggers the search immediately.
