What's New in 3.5.1?

Features & Improvements

New capabilities and enhancements designed to simplify everyday workflows, improve access to project information, and provide greater flexibility across CIPO.

Fixes & Reliability updates

This release also includes fixes and performance improvements to support more consistent system behavior, reliable document processing, and efficient project administration.

  • Direct Navigation to Referenced Drawings and Specifications: Referenced drawings and specifications within RFIs and Submittals now open directly to the page containing the reference. This eliminates the need to manually search through documents to locate referenced information, making it easier for teams to review supporting materials.

  • Redesigned Contract Overview: The Contract Overview tab now features an improved layout, additional sorting options, and collapsible summary widgets. These updates help users organize and review contract information more efficiently.

  • Enhanced CIPO AI Chat: CIPO AI Chat now provides clickable follow-up suggestions, allowing users to continue exploring information without manually entering each subsequent question. Improvements to file and URL reference handling also make it easier to work with supporting information included in AI responses.

  • Modernized Contract Dialog: The Contract dialog has been migrated to the latest Angular framework, improving performance and stability when working with contract information.

  • Expanded Calendar View and Card View Configuration: Administrators can now include Initiator, Submitted On, Updated By, and Updated On as additional system fields when configuring Calendar and Card Views. Table field values also display more clearly within Calendar View, improving access to record information.

  • Simplified Data List Configuration: Data list configuration now displays only fields relevant to the selected module, reducing unnecessary options and making configuration easier to navigate.

  • Improved List Item Editing: The list item edit dialog now better accommodates longer text values, allowing users to view and modify lengthy content more easily.

  • Bulk PDF Regeneration: Administrators can now regenerate PDFs for multiple approved documents simultaneously through the Selected Documents menu, reducing the need to process documents individually.

  • Exportable Document Activity History: Document Activity history can now be saved as a separate PDF within the module’s destination folder. This provides a convenient way to preserve and export a record of document activity for review, reporting, and audit purposes.

  • Expanded Download and Print Logs: Download Log and Print Log actions are now available from the ellipsis menus for Users, Roles, Contacts, Modules, and Organizations, bringing these administrative areas into alignment with dynamic modules.

  • Improved File Archiving: The file archiving process has been optimized to reduce processing time and storage overhead when generating large ZIP files.

  • Dynamic Print Variables: System administrators can add and manage print variables without requiring system changes, providing greater flexibility when configuring printed document output.

  • Modernized File Upload Dialog: The file upload dialog has been restyled with a cleaner, more consistent interface.

  • More Consistent Document and Administration Actions: The Add New button now behaves consistently across Holidays, Lists, and Document Management modules. Additionally, the document row action has been renamed from View to Edit and now opens documents directly in edit mode, making the intended action clearer.

  • Restored Print and Download actions in the data list ellipsis menu.

  • Added an error message when attempting to submit a Schedule of Values (SOV) without any items.

  • Resolved an out-of-memory error when the Document Intelligence client analyzed large PDF files.

  • Fixed an error when deleting a newly created Global folder in Project Files.

  • Virtual DWGs now display only the marked-up documents associated with the selected contract.

  • Resolved an intermittent API error when navigating between modules.

  • Updated module permissions now take effect immediately after closing module configuration.

  • AI Chat now closes automatically when users switch tenants.

  • Fixed an error that prevented contract creation when a relation field had been deleted.

  • Corrected the Duplicate action for Holiday groups created from the Global List.

  • Fixed sorting of indexed files in System Administration.

  • Restored the missing visual separation between Print/PSPDFKit and Actions.

  • Improved performance when archiving Contract modules containing large numbers of documents.

  • Resolved errors affecting scheduled email delivery and schedule actions.

  • Restored Per Contract modules when adding references from the Virtual DWGs tab.

  • Fixed an issue preventing XER files from being uploaded to Project Files.

  • Removed unrelated filters from module data lists.

  • Corrected the Project Files title when navigating from Data Export.

  • Fixed a PDF Markup issue that could cause a document association to be lost, leaving the reference displayed as an image only.
